My partner is looking for R N jobs in alabama?

You can search the major job search sites like hotjobs for RN jobs in Alabama, or the local hospital websites to see who is hiring, and what the requirements are for successful application.

Jobs in Huntsville, Alabama

Does anyone know of any job openings in Huntsville, Alabama that would be a good job for a 17 year old high school student?

Honestly, I would not search for "work from home" at all because most companies advertising that are not legit.
However, if you search for jobs by your area of interest, you may be able to find some that offer the option to
work from home.

I will recommend staffing companies to you

How do I get a job in Alabama

I've just moved here from Oklahoma and now live in Auburn Alabama. I've filled out like twelve durn applications and haven't had a single call back. I call and check everyday and theres no hope!! I'm scared that I'm not going to get a job!!! What do I do???

College towns are rough, auburn is downhome and local, you wanna speak with a slow slllloooowww drawlllll, don't clip ya werds off when ya speak and don't sound chippy and northern or gawd ferbid midwestern! people from the old school south are old school southern no offense dearie. You wanna get into a good church and ask around about finding a good ladies group to settle in with and ask for help in getting a job and what you do and what you like. Churches are a sure fire route to friends, help, sunday dinners, people to support you, and best of all connections. So find your church, one with lots of people and start making some connections to the real southern people of the town, not the transients, and then you'll land a big ole fish job, not near as hard as you're imagining!

Put your phone number on the application.
That and we're in a deep recession; not a bunch of hiring going on.

Hiring jobs in alabama

Does anybody know whos hiring maybe in the pell city, lincoln,or leeds area

They said there were all kinds of jobs in factories, etc in Alabama now ever since the illegal aliens left the state. Many of the factories have shut down for a couple days as there were no workers.
Get out and do some foot work. You will probably get hired.

What is uk post code

Its a structured combination of letters and numbers that identify a group of addresses, with the house number it uniquely identifies a house. My post code identifies a group of 5 houses for instance. The post office uses it to make delivery of mail more efficient. It can be read by machines which sort mail. You can look it up here

UK Post Office has a website for Post Codes

Same as US ZIP code and different area has different codes, for instance Buckingham Palace is SW1A 1AA and Glasgow Airport in Scotland is PA3 2SW

UK does not have a zip code. Nowhere outside of US has a zipcode, Zipcodes are a USA-only thing.

There are hundreds of thousands of UK postcodes

If Australia holds a referendum to have its own Aussie-resident head of state, will it face the same pitfalls as Britain has had with its?

referendum for Britain leave the EU? In other words, if Australians were to vote to no longer be yoked to Mother Britain by having the British royalty as Aussie head of state, would Australia's economy suffer and wiould Australia lose its vital trading status with Britain?

it was the republican model we didn't like last time we have many more important issues to address before we go the republic debate again and waste a heap of money on more bullshit that does very little to improve our country.

Australia is an independent country and is not, read it, is not yoked to Britain. Sure the head of the Royal family is the head of state but that is simply a constitutional convention which, by the way is working a whole lot better than the shambles in the USA with an elected presidency which has been grabbing additional powers ever since the revolution.

Just what is your problem with us 'being yoked' to England? We do not depend on them for anything, they have no power over us whatsoever & apart from the occasional visit here we have nothing to do with the royal family.

We had one in 1999. The republicans, among whom the present prime minister was prominent, lost. No government will spend millions on referenda every 20 years on the same issue. Maybe 2030.

Our vital trading links are with New Zealand, China, South Korea, Japan, the USA and other countries in the Pacific and S-E Asia region and mostly not halfway around the world. In the near future, trade links with South America are likely to become stronger since some South American countries seem to be getting out of the holes they have been in for so long. There is nothing much new about this, Australia was exporting coal to Chile in the 1800's and there already is a free trade agreement with Chile. Trade with Colombia is small but expanding, but nowhere near as big as with Mexico.

The Queen is the figurehead head of state in Australia. She has no influence on government here. Neither does the British parliament. Sometimes it goes the other way, the British Labour Party took a good look at the Australian Labor Party (note differences in spelling) and adopted some of the Australian policies. The British could hardly care whether Australia is a republic or a fascist dictatorship, as long as they can migrate here.

What Australia need to avoid at all costs is an elected president, which would set us up for conflict between the president and the parliament as we see in the USA and in some European republics like France and Italy. In a democracy, the parliament rules, not a single executive, elected or not.

Australia should dump the British Monarchy and in its place adopt the Danish Monarchy.
Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark was born in Hobart and would be much more acceptable to Australians than Charles and Camilla are likely to be. In addition it would be easier and simpler than becoming a republic and having to somehow select a president.
With Mary and Frederik, as our symbolic heads of state we could get rid of the GG and the state governors and instead have the Danish Ambassador in Canberra representing Mary and Frederik at any formal functions.
All of the Government houses could be put to use as child care centres, or old age homes or pizza joints or something useful like that.
Who would this head of state be and how would this person be chosen. These small details need to be clarified first unless you are retarded and think the Kardashians are behind everything.

Is a hotel responsible for lost goods when cleaners have entered a locked room to clean and goods have gone missing?

That's why it is recommended to take out travel insurance when one travels. It is also common practice to keep valuables secured away.

Some of the more up market hotel usually have a small safe in the closet area.

The hotel I have stayed at in Sydney has them.

No, otherwise they would be scammed out of money by people like you.

Parking garages even have a notice that they are not there to give you money as well.

There would be too many lawsuits for this crap.

Claim on travel insurance and also contact the cops about this the Hotel will have to allow them to view the security camera footage.. You will probably need a police report for your insurance claim.
Also go online and write a review regarding the hotel and what happened.

No, the hotel is not responsible. It is the guests responsibility to secure any valuable items by either taking these from the room when they go out or leaving the valuables in the hotel safe at reception.

If something has been stolen you can report this to police, and try to claim on your travel insurance.

In addition to what's above, the hotel safe is barely big enough for my wallet and digital camera let alone my laptop which is what was stolen. We were told our room would not be cleaned during our stay but coincidentally the laptop was stolen the day the cleaners decided to clean our room. There were no signs of forced entry and the room was entirely locked both when we left and when we arrived. The hotel so far is refusing to look at cctv let alone giving us access (due to privacy).

You shouldn't leave valuables in a hotel room. Can you prove you even had them?
Hotels have been scammed over non-existent valuables so many times that they tell you to put valuables in the safe.
You didn't? Bad luck. No claim.

I worked front desk n these awful "guests" bitched at me for when things went missing (yea...because of course I had to have taken it because I'm standing here all damn day long!) and housekeepers would be crying when they were berated in the hallway: "this watch costs more than you make in a year!"...a*holes

Where in Sydney can I buy a secondhand hospital bed?

It must have decent wheels as my friend wants me to push him across the Harbour Bridge each day in protest to the privitation of Medicare and any link will be appreciated, thanks.

you are a spin doctor..its NOT going to be privatized ..its A big fat lie OF LABOR ...

liberal would not do that ..cause they have brains to know no one would vote for them...

labor are BULLIES

If he is foolish enough to believe Short-one's lie you should tip him in the harbour.

If that is what you want the bed for, it would be more prudent of you to push it to MacQuarie Hospital once and book him in.

then you will be wasting your money and time as it's all a big fat Labor lie .A scare campaign that only the stupid would believe

I can't wait for married gay dudes to start referring to their spouse as The Old Balls and Chain

What will Brexit mean for Australia. Certain individuals here are always claiming they are economic geniuses so what will happen on Monday?

It will mean that the Queen becomes stronger in being head of the Commonwealth since she now has more sovereignty from Europe. She and our royals are now less tied up with Europe and can restore British values and culture here in Australia and the remainder of the "empire"

Their free trade agreement with the European Union is not affected, so I can't see much in this for Australia.

The multinational bankers will continue to punish England for daring to oppose their globalist agenda.

We need a similar vote on various trade deals we have been railroaded into.

What's happening already is the financial markets are in turmoil, and the pound sterling has fallen to its lowest value since 1985. That's quite a drop.

Of course, it doesn't bother the Pro-Brexit crowd, who are essentially a bunch of nationalist right-wingers with definite fascist tendencies and who have it set that THEY will gain considerably from this situation, while ordinary people who may or may not have voted for Brexit will STILL be left out in the cold.

The British have just made a rash decision based on raw emotion as opposed to long-term sustainability. Australia needs to show it won't go along with silly decision and should secede from the Commonwealth.

Swimming on period?

So I just started my period today. The 5th time.
The problem is that in going swimming tomorrow in a lake. I will be swimming for 2 hours. Is it okay to swim on my period? It's medium.
If I do go I'll be wearing my pants with a pad in. I can't use tampons because of a medical issue. So don't suggest that. Then I'll be wearing some shorts. Then my swimming costume. Then my wetsuit, will pieces of pad float around?
Thanks

Lol once I went to a water park my period was gone for good ^o^ Good thing that I got to enjoy. Btw wear a tampon or don't go in. You probably don't want it to get the water dirty and get embarrassed.

Your period will come out no matter what. But the main this is, if anybody's going to see. Sometimes you get clots in your period, and they don't really dissolve. They just stay like a clump of blood (sorry to be so graphic), and could stain your pants/swimsuit bottoms/whatever.
You'll probably be able to see your pad though the wetsuit. & it'll soak up all the water. It'll be like a soggy diaper all heavy & thick.

I don't know about pieces of your pad floating around (I'd assume it would stay together but I could be wrong) but I think your period could come out when you are swimming or getting out of the water. That could be really embarrassing if anyone is around and could make a mess (like drip on the ground or get on a chair). I think I've had my period come out while taking a bath so I believe this could happen while in a lake. I really think you should pass on going swimming while your period is happening.

Anytime your swimming, don't ever use a pad. You know how a babies diaper gets soggy, that's the same thing the pad will do. if your not comfortable with tampons, don't use them. A few days ago I tried using one for the first time, it did not go well. First of all, it hurt, second of all, it was hard. Thirdly, I decided that it seemed like to much work and pain so I gave up. When I'm on my period, I never use a tampon or pad when swimming. Never have me any problems, so when your ever swimming, it shouldn't give you any.

Are you planning on using a tampon? If so, definitely. If not.. Well, still go for it. Honestly, it's a lake. The water is gross already, not a big deal to swim in it while on the rag. For the most part your period stops in the water (there might be the occasional spurt, or clot) but lake water is rarely clear enough to spot it. I'd advise against a pad, tho. It'd swell up and be uncomfortable and more noticeable than if you'd just go without anything. (If you do use pads, just remove it before swimming. Open the car door to block yourself if there's not really any privacy around- lakes don't really have bathrooms.)

Yes ... you can go swimming while you are having a period; there's no medical reason why you should not.

I can't think of any sort of "medical issue" that you could have that would prevent you wearing a tampon, but be that as it may. A pad is going to give you problems. After you go in the water, a pad is going to get water-logged and will feel heavy and bulky, and its wet outline will show underneath whatever you are wearing to swim in. It will continue to drip water after you get out of the water. A pad is probably the LAST thing you want to wear while you are swimming.

If you can't wear a tampon, you can try a menstrual cup if you want to. You've got to wear SOMETHING. A lot of people would recommend a cup, but my own personal opinion is that they are messy and nasty to use.

you can go, but try to wear a tampon. I wore one on like my second period to go swimming. if you're really light, then it might be okay to wear nothing because it usually does stop in water, but I wouldn't trust that, because as soon as you get out you don't want blood running down your legs.

Swim in only your bathing suit, and AS SOON AS you get out, wrap yourself in a DARK towel.

Period blood is held in when swimming. It is very unlikely if not impossible that you will leak while you are swimming. The pressure of the water overpowers your flow. Cool, isn't it? (:

As I said before, as soon as you get out, wrap yourself in a dark towel and when you change, make sure you wear a pad.

What is the objective of Hotel Booking?

One is to assure the guests that they have accomodations by the time they arrive at the hotel. Two, so the room/rooms will be ready and available. Three, so as to avoid confusion when the guests arrive to find there is no room available. Four, so that the hotel management will know how many rooms are still available for occupation. Five, so that the chef and kitchen staff will know how many guests are arriving and be able to stock on food and drinks.

Ireland travel with no advance hotel booking?

I will be in Ireland in September for 16 days. Our plan is to stay in Dublin for the first 3 days or so then rent a car and head out on our own. We plan to only book our hotel in advance for the first few days then just find a room in whatever city/town we end up in that night. Is this reasonable? I know that September is the tail end of tourist season but I'm still a little worried about finding a place to stay last minute. Also, is car rental the best way to go or should we look more into public transportation?

I'm sure you will have no problem finding accommodation in this way but you will be slightly limited if you don't hire a car. For a start you need a fair bit of luggage for 16 days so you will end up dragging a huge suitcase around on buses or trains quite possibly in the rain.

For instance if you decide to only stop one night in a particular hotel & check out in the morning to move on somewhere else you have to carry your bags with you all day & not leave them unattended otherwise they might be stolen.

The first 3 days in Dublin will be fine as you can leave your bags in the hotel room but after that would look into hiring a car after you leave Dublin. Outside of Dublin our public transport service is quite expensive it can ages to get from one city to the next.

I was in Ireland last mid-September and had no problems finding hotels, and the hotels had rooms available up to almost the last minute. Do realize the more "last minute" you want to stay at a hotel the higher the cost. That was very noticeable on weekends and around high-profile football matches (fans filling the hotels).

Better would be to make reservations (NOT paid in advance) via hotel websites (NOT via travel websites like Expedia) for places where you expect to go. That will allow you to cancel or modify the reservations as needed while keeping costs lower and still assuring you have a place to stay.

If you want to maintain flexibility regarding where you go then ask the hotel you are at for help finding a hotel at your next destination. The Internet of course will also work, but you may have better success going through your "current" hotel.

I only traveled around via train and taxi, so can't help with advice on renting a car. if you travel by train then buy the tickets online at least two (3) full days in advance or the price goes up dramatically.

You'll be fine in September without advance reservations, don't worry. And rather than hotels, why not look at family-run B&Bs instead? Often much nicer, and you do get a lot of insider information from locals ...

Car rental is indeed best for if you want to go off the beaten track, but do factor in the high cost of fuel when you're here. It's currently about €1.54 per litre.

If you hit the lotto?

What would you do if you hit the mega millions lotto? What SIX things would you do with it? (example: 1.buy a house, 2. buy a porsche, 3. nose job...etc)
Update: I guess I should tell everyone what I would do with it! lol..Some old man hit the $370 million here in my hometown today, thats what got me thinking...

1.buy houses and cars for my loved ones and myself

2.Take me and my family on a looong BEAUTIFUL vacation.

3. Pay for my son's college

4. Get a nose job ;-)

5.Give some "blessings" to people who need it

6. Set up a shelter for homeless animals!

My parents won the Colorado State lotto back on 30 January 1993 when I was 13 (I'm all grown up, married, have my own family and live out of country now).

(only my dad's name appears on the sheet - & if you want to know who he is, look at my 360 page and see where I grew up)

They won 5 million, but there were two other winners so each wound up only getting $1,783,674.00. Back then they only had annuity (to be paid out over 25 years) so they're still getting their yearly checks. My mom quit her job after that.

My parents are very religious and spent a good portion of the money that they first got to help build a Catholic orphanage in India (one of our close family friends is a Catholic priest from India).

If I were to win the lotto (when I go back for visits):
* I would put money away for my kids college and for when their older
*I would make sure all my parents and my husbands parents bills were taken care of and they don't have to worry about anything for the rest of their lives
*I would donate to a charitable orginazation
*I would put the rest in investment savings to save for the future.

I hope that someday you do win the lotto so you can do all you want to do - but be careful - you will get a lot of calls from people trying to get you to "cash out" your lotto check, which basically mans they get about 45% of YOUR money, so don't fall for it! Otherwise, good luck!

. Find a way to get my wife a new kidney.
2. Take the kids to Disney for 2 weeks.
3. Help friends and loved ones.
4. Buy a new house in the suburbs.
5. Get my wife the car she's always wanted.
6. Pay off all of our debts.

My husband and I always talk about this then laught b/c we never play the lotto! lol
1Buy house 2go on a nice trip 3 get something really awesome for both sides of the family 4 invest 5 retire 6 plastic surgery

 Get divorced
2. Build a home in Freiburg Germany
3. Pay my parents home off and buy them new cars.
4. Buy my nephew a car.
5. Pay for my daughters, niece and nephews college.
6. Build an awesome log home with awesome landscaping.

I'd plan a trip for my whole family. Buy cars for myself and for my siblings. Build houses for investment and for my siblings. Get my neices and nephew the most expensive gift they want. And treat my friends to a grand vacation all expenses paid for.

buy homes for me and my family
2.) go on a year long vacation travel the world
3.) make a stop and get my boobs done ;)
4.)give to charity
5.) buy some cars, yachts etc...
6.)the biggest shopping spree ever

Can you please explain the super 7's oz lotto?

im not sure how it works ive got 4 winning numbers in a row what does that mean? lol i know im a rookie gambler.. can i please have a breif explaination on how this works

Oz Lotto is a national lottery game that goes under different names in different states. For example, it's Super 7's Oz Lotto in states administered by Tattersalls, such as Victoria and Tasmania, Oz 7 Lotto in Queensland and OZ Lotto elsewhere. Because it's national, jackpots can get quite large. Currently, the 1st Division jackpot is $90 million.

You select 7 numbers from a possible 45.

Draws are every Tuesday. They draw 7 main numbers and 2 supplementary numbers. To win a prize, you need:

Division 1: All 7 main numbers.
Division 2: 6 main numbers plus either supp.
Division 3: 6 main numbers.
Division 4: 5 main numbers plus either supp.
Division 5: 5 main numbers.
Division 6: 4 main numbers.
Division 7: 3 main numbers plus either supp.

So to win the jackpot, you need Division 1: All 7 main numbers.

The order in which the numbers are drawn doesn't matter. If you have 4 main numbers, you've won a Division 6 prize, which in the last draw (23/06/09) was $20.90. You really need Div 1, 2 or 3 to get anything worthwhile, unfortunately.

What's the chances of winning the lotto

Lotto is a whole system composed from two worlds:1} external world that is the living draw in itself and what you do for it.2} internal world equal with
previous draws ,a place which contains all the info necessary to know how Lotto worked. That is a new holistic way to think about Lotto.
All people play Lotto based on external world,so the chance to win the Lottery is nearly zero. Occasionally it is possible to watch some 3-4 numbers and that's all.
If you want to grow the chances you have to work a bit.and be ready for a little effort. You have to research the history of your Lottery seeing what happened.Learning from past is the best way to grow your chance to win the Lottery frequently like I do so many years.
Different sum of money is money and you can improve permanently this procedure hoping to reach that fabulous jackpot.
Don't believe me...just try it.
Warmly

For the United Kingdom national lottery 6 numbers it is 14 million to 1 so there are just over 14 million combinations of numbers. It's like picking a grain of sugar out of a barrel of salt. You have just as much chance as everyone else as it is a truly random draw.

Your chances are roughly:

The number of tickets you've bought / A very large number.

That very large number is probably in the range of 15,000,000 - 120,000,000 depending on your state.

What's the chances of winning the lotto

Hi my husband just won 10 grand, we live in massachuseets, now i'm sure your all thinking lucky, but here it goes he is going to take the money to pay off a debt he owes for his business to an elderly aunt who lent 30k when his business was floundering. Well I am the only one bring an income into the house. He doesn't understand why iam not thrilled about his goood fortune. Will this effect my income and in turn effect my tax return? I think he should give the ticket to his aunt let her worry about taxes. If he is going to give her the money any way. He isn't offering any of it to me so why should i be happy about it looks to me like i am going to lose from it.

No offense to anyone but i really am looking for tax info on these winnings and how it effects my personal taxes. I am planning on taking the kids to Disney with my return i need to find out if his winnings will effect that. i will not be getting one red cent of that 10 grand
if he cashes ticket anyway, i think he might, if i file seperatly will that protect my tax return? he is basicly unemployed.

Yes, lotto winnings will affect your income. I'm assuming you've been filing joint, since that would be the most financially advantageous. If so, depending on what your other income is, you'll likely owe $1500 to $2500 extra in taxes on the lotto winnings. That's federal - I don't know if you'd owe anything to Massachusetts - most states don't tax winnings on their lotteries but I don't know about taxachusetts

You're right that if he hasn't cashed the ticket yet, and just gave the ticket to his aunt to cash, that would put any taxes in her court. Officially and legally, that's not really allowed - the ticket is his, so he's the one responsible for the taxes - he can give her a gift of the money without further tax consequences. But would be a little hard for anyone to trace who started with the ticket, until it's cashed. If he's already cashed it, he could just give her whatever is left over after taxes are paid - but it doesn't really sound from your question like that's what he has in mind. On an amount won that large, they might withhold taxes, maybe even enough to pay them, so (1) he might not get the whole $10,000, and (2) you might even make out, if the withholding is more than the taxes end up. You could call the state lottery office and ask them if they withhold anything, and if so, what percent.

Filing separately won't help you a lot, since although you wouldn't have to pay tax on the lotto win, you'd pay a higher rate on your own income, and could lose credits that you might get if you file joint. If you've been filing separately all along, then the lotto winnings are his tax problem, not yours, and it wouldn't cost you any extra.

You mention that he has/had a business. Does he have earnings from that, and just keep them separate from your funds? Does he file taxes on that, and you file separately?

This sounds like a real mess in the making.

Yes, your husband's winnings will increase your taxable income and increase your tax bill.

While technically if your husband gave the winning ticket to his aunt he would still owe the taxes (the transfer of the ticket would be considered a gift) it is unlikely that the IRS would know that it was your husband who originally had the ticket and therefore the burden for reporting the income would fall on his aunt.

It will affect you taxes. You can give her the ticket for her to cash and pay tax on, this contrary to another answer would have no effect on your taxes as you are allowed to give up to $12,000 to any single indiv with no tax effect. Or, if you have already cashed the ticket, make a payment of Estimated tax to the IRS and give her the rest of the money toward the debt.

Yes, if filing jointly it will add to your income and you will ave to pay state and federal income tax on it. I would give the ticket to the aunt if she getting the whole 10,000 anyway.

It is taxable income. If you file separately, neither of you can itemize deductions. If you normally itemize, you may better off filing jointly than trying to reduce the income on your return by filing separately.
