Most of the latest smartphones can also incorporate 3G capabilities. 3G stands for third generation and is a collective term for the new communication procedures, standards, and devices that will improve the speed and quality of services available on the move. 4G services are expected soon as the Government sells llicences for the 4G network in the UK.
