Yes, the NYDaily sNews has an article of his passing but it does not say what the cause of death was. Too bad. He was a character. He was 42 years old; supposedly no foul play suspected. He and Mister T would've made a great team for an action movie, though. R.I.P., Kimbo.
I remember when Kimbo first started. He use to beat people áss and put it on tape. That is when people knew he was a bádáss because he had the bálls to do it. He also made guys like Masvidal and Dada5000 famous from his videos. They made it from nothing.
Police are currently investigating his death. All that is known that he was put in the hospital where he died hours later. I dont care much about Mohammed Ali but I was very upset to learn Kimbo passed away so young. He was an amazing boxer, MMA fighter, and Actor. I watched Blood and Bone for the first time the day before he died. Broke my heart. RIP KIMBO SLICE

Boxing is generally not a good career choice if you want to live a long life and care about your handsomeness. The financial compensation is good, but the length of your career is limited, and regardless of your level of success in "the ring", you will at one point or another suffer repeated high velocity blows to sensitive areas of the body, which could even result in instant death. Except for Floyd Mayweather, who outperforms his opponents in training and on fight night to the point that he eliminates them from competition before they have the chance to do him any harm.
I'm only 6'1 which is average, but my wingspan is considerably long, which led to me being hyped as the next international boxing superstar. It didn't take many nights at the boxing club in Staunton for me to go home each night and wonder if boxing was for me. I decided it wasn't, regardless of how much money I could end up making.
